About the Frankie Foundation: The Frankie Foundation is committed to transforming tragedy into triumph. It was founded in honor of Frank Speciale, a beloved friend whose life was cut short by heart disease. Frankie was known for his zest for life, and the foundation carries forward his legacy by helping others live life to the fullest. 💡 The foundation’s mission: 1️⃣ Saving lives by raising funds to place Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) in parks and athletic fields across South Florida. AEDs are essential in treating most sudden cardiac arrests, and their presence in public spaces can make the difference between life and death. 2️⃣ Empowering the next generation by offering annual scholarships to local high school seniors who embody Frank’s selfless spirit.
